Beitel (IJlst Station traffic circle)
A huge chisel stands in the middle of a flower bed. The chisel once stood in front of the new factory on Roodhemsterweg. After that factory closed, the chisel was placed here in 2010. In memory of Nooitgedacht, the factory that produced skates and planes from 1865 to 1965, but from then on tools and especially chisels. The factory closed early this century.
