The Water Tower on Lemmerweg was designed by architect G. Halbertsma and built in 1908 in a Neo-Renaissance style. On July 8, 1909, the tower was officially inaugurated. This municipal monument is 44 meters high and has one water reservoir of 350 m3. Since 1998, the tower has been used as an office. Therefore, the water tower cannot be visited inside.
