Walk with a city guide past places of remembrance of World War II in Sneek.

In the period when we commemorate World War II, the Fries Scheepvaart Museum organizes the themed city walk "Traces of War and Resistance. On Sunday, April 28 and on Wednesday, May 1, our city guides will take you to places of remembrance in the inner city, such as the 'stroffelstiennen' and the spot where the Waag once stood. The Germans set it on fire on the day Sneek was liberated.

Walk with us? The walk on April 28 starts at 3 pm, and on May 1 at 7:30 pm. It lasts about an hour and a half. Cost €5.50 per person, payable beforehand at the museum box office. Registration is required and can be done at balie@friesscheepvaartmuseum.nl.

This theme walk can also be booked on request for groups of 4 or more in the period from April 15 to May 15.
