Route along places of interest Sneek (5 km)

The inner city of Sneek is beautiful. This route takes you past the most famous sights, such as the Waterpoort, the Martinikeker and the Sint Martinuskerk, but in the meantime don't forget to take a good look around you. Many stores are situated in centuries-old buildings, such as the warehouse in which the Handyman is located on the Gedempte Pol or the C&A building in neo-renaissance style. Look above the store windows and be amazed by Sneek's fantastic facades.

Route

The mapped out route starts at number 1 on the map and you then follow the successive numbers. For each point indicated you will find an explanation of the places of interest. Of course you are free to walk the route the other way round or to cut off somewhere or extend it with a part of one of the other routes, e.g. 'the walking route along public art'. You can print this route (pdf) and read about the sights online.
